These 100 ul filter tips can be used with a variety of fixed or variable volume micropipettes ranging from 05 ul to 10 ul in volume. These tips contain a filter that helps protect samples during pipetting. Filter tips are used to prevent cross-contamination or “carryover” from one sample to another. When samples are aspirated into a pipette tip, a fine mist or “aerosol” can form and enter the pipette. Even after changing the tip, this aerosol may contaminate the next sample. They’re perfect for sensitive tasks like PCR amplification, as well as for handling radioactive, infectious, or aerosol-emitting samples.

The tips are made from medical-grade virgin polypropylene. Tips are transparent so that you can always control the liquid inside the pipette. For even easier observation of the volume aspirated.
